You should be given text links, banner ads, video tutorials and anything else that will make it easier on you to generate traffic.
The first thing to look for in a quality leader is trust. Once you start to get the hang of your affiliate programs, you want a leader who is going to leave you alone and allow you to do your own thing. The beauty of the internet is you get to work for yourself and this is the best way to go about making money from them.
